lunar moth

We were surprised to see that our Lunar Moth had emerged from its cocoon over the weekend!
The Lunar Moth has no mouth so it does not eat; it  only mates and reproduces and lives for only a few days.

A Visit from Harmony Studios

Darlene and Roger from Harmony Studios (our business sponsor) came to our classroom to sing and make musical instruments with the students.  The students each got to bring their own musical instrument (shakers) home.

Bike Safety

Mike Heikes visited our school and spoke to the 2nd graders about the importance of wearing bicycle helmets when biking.  Free helmets were given to students who needed them.
