We have been learning about the food plate and how eating the foods on the food plate help us to live and grow.
The students brought food items such as; fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat, and crackers to share with their classmates.
Our “sharing snack” activity was a great way to conclude our food unit and it helped to reinforce the healthy food choices we learned about in this unit. It also reinforced class discussions on the topics of thankfulness, sharing, and helping. Thank you for the items that you sent!
Students play a game of "Bat-Moth" before heading back to school.
